I am a hands-on user experience practitioner with a strong background in Agile software development and a passion for designing clean, effective and easy-to-use products.
My work includes a strong portfolio of world-class, innovative networked product experiences spanning the web, mobile and wireless. I was cited as one of the top UI/UX designers in New England.
I'm an inventor on over a dozen software patents and patents pending related to software user experiences. In 2002, I authored the first business book linking online user experience to profitability, published by McGraw-Hill in New York. My formal education includes an M.S. from the MIT Media Laboratory in Cambridge, MA where I focused on developing algorithms to enhance gestural UIs. I also earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University in Medford, MA, where I have taught in the Computer Science Department at the undergraduate/graduate level. |
