Karen Donoghue is founder and principal of HumanLogic, a strategic user experience firm servicing Fortune 1000 clients, including Reuters, Ltd., Fidelity Investments, Fleet Boston Financial, State Street Global Advisors and EMC Corporation. HumanLogic also serves many dotcom startups such as Raging Bull and MidnightTrader. Karen is a strategic advisor to Metacarta, a new venture founded at MIT in 2000. She has been involved in the planning and development of innovative user experiences since 1987. Ms. Donoghue is a graduate of the MIT Media Laboratory and sits on the board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge. She holds six U.S. utility patents on user interface technologies. In addition to graduate-level study in design at Harvard University, she earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University in 1987.
